The Congressman's Contact

Over the weekend I have been working towards getting interviews. The individuals whom I am attempting to get interviews with are high profile members of United States and Texas politics. This means they are very busy and unable to respond quickly. I have been in contact with them and they have agreed to interview me, however they are not giving me dates yet. However, what has come from this has been very exciting. In my talks with Congressman Pat Fallon who I am trying to interview, I have been given his personal phone number. He is one of the people that is in charge of running this country and I, a high school student, have been given the ability to have his personal number. The ISM program has done so much for me and my connections. Getting a connection like this is not something I would be able to do without the help of the program. Hopefully I will have luck in getting those interviews scheduled before Friday. Regardless, I am excited for the prospects that this connections will bring in this class and when I start my professional life. Hopefully my interview with him goes well and he will become my mentor because having a United States House of Representatives Member as my mentor would be quite an achievement and very exciting.
