Coming Close to Completion

Last week in ISM, I made significant progress in my original work, and finally logged my hours... Anyways, I found a way that I can properly create a district map for Texas and I created districts that get the republican to democrat proportions almost perfectly equal and also contain proper areas that don't extend from one city to another like I had found last week. Things have started going better with that, now I plan to try and create districts that contain as much democrat votes and as much republican votes as possible. I already made one that follows the proper laws and makes sense based off of location and shape which was my main goal, so I am proud of that. Doing this has been honestly jaw dropping to realize how simple it would be to have appropriate districts, but those in power do what they can to get more votes for themselves. I realize how purposely malicious one would have to be to do that, because jerrymandering is way more difficult than doing it properly. I also can appreciate the skill it takes to masterfullu manipulate the districts in a manner that suits them so much. I completely disagree with what they do, but it's cool that they can do it.
